Human Resources Manager

Description Human Resources Manager. Custer Public Power District is seeking qualified applicants for a Human Resources Manager based at our Broken Bow office. This full-time position is responsible for leading and administering the District’s Human Resources functions, including employee relations, recruitment and onboarding, labor relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, employee development, policy administration, and employment law compliance. The Human Resources Manager will provide guidance and support to management and employees and serve as a confidential and objective resources on personnel matters. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent education and progressively responsible experience may be considered. Minimum of five (5) years progressively responsible Human Resources experience. Experience in employee relations, benefits, compliance, recruiting, and performance management. Labor relations, collective bargaining, public power, electric utility, or public sector experience preferred. SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR or similar professional certifications preferred. Strong communication, organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Must possess and maintain a valid Nebraska driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
