Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) nursing for a travel assignment in Macon, GA. This role involves providing critical care to patients in a vibrant and busy hospital environment. The successful candidate will work in a facility known for its Level 1 Trauma Designation and comprehensive care services, offering a challenging and rewarding experience.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU

• Deliver patient care for ICU and PCU units, including medical, surgical, trauma, cardiovascular, and neuro patients.
• Administer common drips such as insulin, heparin, and sedation drips, with titration as needed.
• Perform general nursing tasks including trach care, chest tube management, and intravenous therapy.
• Monitor and assess patient vitals and conditions, ensuring a high standard of care and patient safety.
• Support team members, draw blood samples from CVLs, and assist with patient movement as required.

Requirements of the RN - ICU

• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of ICU RN experience
• Comfort with a float pool environment across ICU and PCU units
• Successful completion of EKG competency exam during onboarding
• Proven experience with EPIC EMR (6 months required)
