Excellent Nephrology Opportunity – Danbury, Connecticut (60 miles from New York City) Danbury Hospital, part of Nuvance Health, seeks a board‑certified Nephrologist. The role offers a sign‑on and relocation bonus, a competitive total compensation package, benefits, paid time off, CME and dues allowance, and a practice located about 60 miles from New York City. Danbury is located in suburban Fairfield County and is conveniently served by local dialysis centers and a shared inpatient call schedule. Responsibilities Provide outpatient nephrology care Monday – Friday at the Danbury practice office. Take inpatient call one week every 5 weeks at Danbury Hospital. Teach residents and participate in academic and research opportunities. Qualifications MD or DO, board certified in Internal Medicine with a completed Nephrology fellowship and board certified or board eligible in Nephrology. CT State medical license, CSR, and Federal Narcotic Use Registration (DEA). Unrestricted U.S. work authorization. Ability to work Monday – Friday in the outpatient practice and take call one week every 5 weeks inpatient in Danbury Hospital. Admin time is allotted ½ day per week except during call week. Benefits Sign‑on and relocation bonus. Competitive salary range: $300,000 – $450,000 annually (commensurate with experience). Competitive benefits package, paid time off, CME and dues allowance.
