Traffic Analysis Project Engineer

This opportunity entails leading production, review, and delivery of technical reports and plans for traffic analysis, traffic operations, safety analysis, ITS, and design projects. Position directly supports project managers with project management responsibilities and client coordination for complex programs and projects. Selected candidate is expected to leverage technical knowledge of VISSIM, Synchro, SIDRA, and HCS for projects of varying scale and complexity from locally focused operations projects to Design-Build and P3 regional connectivity programs. Role may serve clients such as GDOT, TDOT, City of Atlanta, Cobb County, Gwinnett County, MARTA, and other public agencies. Regular engagement with clients and project stakeholders may be required. May mentor, train, and review the work of junior engineering staff, providing guidance and constructive feedback to support their professional development. As a member of the team, you will contribute to the successful delivery of multiple project phases for a diverse range of HNTB clients.What You'll Do:Responsible for the planning and distribution of discipline-specific work, and adherence to the schedule and budget on projects.Assists in marketing responsibilities, including proposal generation.Assists with the development of scope of work and level of effort for projects and/or assignments within discipline.Oversees completeness and accuracy of project team’s work within the technical discipline.
