Systems Sales Consultant

Learn more at Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Systems Sales Consultant to join our fire business unit. This role will cover the 5 boroughs of NYC Primary Responsibilities Investigate and uncover new opportunities for the sale of fire alarm and/or security systems along with aftermarket services This position requires sales activity including: Calling on electrical contractors, general contractors, property owners, portfolio managers, local business owners, etc. Calling on existing customer base Calling on electrical engineers and architects Following up on company provided leads Utilizing and following up with on‑line lead services Following up on self‑generated leads Goal is to close sales of company approved equipment/services making sure estimate meets the project specification and the AFA pricing guidelines Basic Qualifications 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in the commercial development industry 3+ years of experience establishing a client base: Proven successful history of relationship development, lead generation, and selling design concepts/ideas Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Preferred Qualifications Proven history of sales success: Experience identifying and developing new business opportunities Experience building a network of business relationships: Ability to create sales opportunities by working with A&D (Architecture & Design), real estate, and construction companies Innovative self‑starter: Confidence and ability to represent Pavion professionally and ethically to gain high levels of confidence Excellent problem‑solving skills: Strong meeting facilitation skills Ability to lead change: Handle multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment effectively Bachelor's degree NICET certification a plus Salary Range $80K to $95K plus commission Disclaimer: This job description should not be construed to imply that these requirements are the exclusive standards of the position.
