Operations Director - Regulated Laboratory Management

Overview:
We’re seeking a motivated and experienced Operations Director to lead day-to-day operations, logistics, and team performance for a regulated laboratory in Nevada’s fast-growing cannabis testing industry. The ideal candidate has a strong background in team leadership, client relations, logistics, and operational efficiency. This role involves ensuring smooth coordination across departments, maintaining compliance, and supporting consistent, high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities :

Manage and support staff performance, scheduling, and daily workflows across operational areas.
Oversee client relations, ensuring timely communication, issue resolution, and satisfaction.
Coordinate logistics, budgets, and inventory management to optimize efficiency and cost control.
Maintain compliance and data integrity within systems such as METRC and Confident Cannabis and other LIMS systems .
Collaborate with leadership on process improvement, performance tracking, and reporting.
Support facility operations, vendor coordination, and equipment scheduling as needed.

Qualifications:

3+ years of management or operations experience, ideally in a laboratory, cannabis, or other regulated environment .
Proven ability to lead teams, manage logistics, and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
Proficiency in QuickBooks, Confident Cannabis, METRC, and Slack .
Strong organizational, budgeting, and multitasking skills.
Adaptable, motivated, and eager to grow within a fast-evolving industry.
