The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cardiovascular intensive care nursing and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. Responsibilities\n \n Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Cardiac Vascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). \n Monitor patient condition and implement care plans accordingly. \n Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. \n Perform ECG rhythm recognition and maintain proficiency in medication safety. \n Participate in ongoing educational opportunities and training sessions. \n Work at least every other holiday to support staffing needs. \n Qualifications\n \n 12 months of permanent experience in CVICU or a related specialty is required. \n A valid and unrestricted Ohio nursing license or a compact state license is mandatory. \n Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) are required. \n Completion of ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation, with acceptable scores on both. \n Work Schedule\n This position requires a night shift schedule, with three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. \n If you are a dedicated and skilled CVICU RN looking to make a difference in patient care, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity. \n \n Wellspring Nurse Source Job ID 37772856.
