Hospitalist Physician (MD/DO) Inpatient Coverage - Western New York

Assignment Overview

Location: Gloversville, NY
Start Date: May (ASAP)
Length of Need: 3 6 months ongoing
Setting: Inpatient Hospital Medicine
Facility Size: 75-bed hospital
EMR: Meditech Expanse
Privileges: Temporary privileges available for clean files

Practice Environment

Collaborative hospitalist program
Typical staffing model:
- 4 Hospitalist Physicians
- 2 Advanced Practice Providers
Open ICU with pulmonary support available
Procedures not required

Clinical Responsibilities

Inpatient admissions and rounding
Participate in patient care management across medical floors
Respond to Code Blue and Rapid Response Team (RRT) events
Collaborate with APPs, consulting specialists, and pulmonary support as needed

Requirements

Board Certified Internal Medicine (ABIM) or Family Medicine (ABFM)
Active New York License and DEA required at name clear
ACLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of hospitalist experience
