Trails of Orono, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is looking for a Culinary Assistant to join our growing team! Trails of Orono Senior Living, is located in Orono, MN. We are in a serene, wooded setting just west of Minneapolis and next to the Luce Line Trail. We help seniors Age Magnificently in our apartment-style community providing Assisted Living and Memory Care services. Position: Culinary Assistant/Server

Hourly: $15.50 - $20.50 and hour, depending on experience

Service Area: 875 Wayzata Boulevard, Wayzata, MN 55391

Schedule: FTE options below.

Option 1, full-time 1.0 AM 730am-2pm - Week 1: Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday / Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday

Option 2, part-time 0.4 FTE PM 330pm-630pm - Week 1: Sunday and Monday / Week 2: Monday and Tuesday

Option 3: part-time 0.5 FTE PM 330pm-630pm - Week 1: Sunday, Thursday and Friday / Week 2: Friday and Saturday

Position Duties & Responsibilities:

• Set up room trays and tables in dining room, serve and bus trays, pour and cover beverages, and assist in preparing and covering food.
• Transport carts to appropriate areas and deliver trays, when applicable.
• Deliver nourishments and snacks appropriately.
• Maintain a steady work pace to produce an adequate supply of clean kitchen utensils and dishes.
• Soak, scrub, scrape and wash soiled dishes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience in a senior living setting is preferred.
• Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident's families, and employees.
• Must possess advanced computer skills.
