Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Work hand-in-hand with radiologists and referring providers to ensure the production of high-quality diagnostic images
• Manage and maintain ultrasound equipment, reporting any technical issues immediately
• Document procedures thoroughly and maintain accurate patient records in an electronic medical system
• Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging technologies and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
