PATIENT INFORMATION

Average Daily Volume: 8-12 consults and 2-8 procedures per day
Case Mix: GI consultations, colonoscopy, endoscopy, EUS, ERCP as needed
Rounding: Included

FACILITY INFORMATION

Specialty Backup Available: Yes, Anesthesiology and APP support
Support Staff Available: APPs at CCH, GCMC, HPMC

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Hospital Privileges Required: Yes

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

Colonoscopy
Endoscopy

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Round on consultations and follow-ups for inpatient GI service.
Perform GI endoscopic procedures including colonoscopy and endoscopy.
Provide comprehensive inpatient care, with potential to cover outpatient as needed.
Collaborate with advanced practice providers (APPs) and surgical staff.
Maintain timely documentation and adherence to hospital protocols.
