PATIENT INFORMATION
  • Average Daily Volume: 8-12 consults and 2-8 procedures per day
  • Case Mix: GI consultations, colonoscopy, endoscopy, EUS, ERCP as needed
  • Rounding: Included
FACILITY INFORMATION
  • Specialty Backup Available: Yes, Anesthesiology and APP support
  • Support Staff Available: APPs at CCH, GCMC, HPMC
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
  • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
REQUIRED PROCEDURES
  • Colonoscopy
  • Endoscopy
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Round on consultations and follow-ups for inpatient GI service.
  • Perform GI endoscopic procedures including colonoscopy and endoscopy.
  • Provide comprehensive inpatient care, with potential to cover outpatient as needed.
  • Collaborate with advanced practice providers (APPs) and surgical staff.
  • Maintain timely documentation and adherence to hospital protocols.
