Average Daily Volume: 8-12 consults and 2-8 procedures per day
Case Mix: GI inpatient/outpatient procedures, consultations
Rounding: Included

FACILITY INFORMATION

Specialty Backup Available: Anesthesiologists, APPs, fully staffed surgical suites
Support Staff Available: APPs at CCH, GCMC & HPMC; full surgical staff

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Hospital Privileges Required: Yes

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

Colonoscopy
Endoscopy

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Board: BC/BE in Gastroenterology

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Rounding on consultations and follow-ups
Performing GI endoscopic procedures (colonoscopy, endoscopy)
Managing inpatient consults and providing patient care
Providing outpatient coverage as needed
Collaborating with APPs and surgical staff
