Experience with SQF/Food Safety Programs is also required. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) is necessary. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are also needed.Primary ResponsibilitiesThe primary responsibilities include documenting daily performance reports by preparing and analyzing production data. The role requires managing and directing employees daily, with a shift size up to 25+ employees. The supervisor oversees Bottle Packer, Material Handlers, Quality Technicians, and Mechanics, working in conjunction with Warehouse, Customer Service, SQF Practitioner, Production Manager, Maintenance Manager, HR Manager, and Plant Manager. Attention to detail is required, as the supervisor oversees all traceability paperwork and ensures product is documented accurately. The role also involves correcting and reporting any unsafe conditions, training all employees on your shift, maintaining scheduling of production to meet customer needs and maintain the lowest possible labor/overtime costs, reviewing and calculating employee timecards daily via Paychex system, providing coaching and discipline to employees under guidance of Human Resources, writing and issuing performance evaluations, and being willing to work a line to help the team.
