Urology Physician – Independent Practice Track (MedCBO Supported) About the Position MedCBO is a business infrastructure company that empowers independent physician groups to launch, manage, and grow their practices. This role is for a urology physician who wishes to own and operate a practice while receiving structured operational support from MedCBO. The physician is an independent owner and is not an employee of MedCBO. No prior business ownership experience is required. Patient Care Responsibilities Provide urology care within the scope of your specialty. Develop professional relationships within the medical community. Determine clinical services offered and manage clinical quality and patient experience. Coordinate payer credentialing with MedCBO as required. Administrative Support Provided by MedCBO Practice formation coordination. Billing and collections management. Payer contract negotiation. Financial infrastructure and reporting. Operational workflows and staffing systems. Technology platform implementation. Credentialing, enrollments, and facility privileging coordination. Supply‑chain and vendor coordination. Qualifications MD or DO with unrestricted license in good standing in the intended state. Board certified or board eligible in a urology‑related specialty. Eligible for hospital and/or facility privileges where applicable. Ability to obtain professional liability coverage at standard market rates. No current limitations, exclusions, or disciplinary restrictions that would prevent independent practice. Interest in the independent practice model. Preferred Qualifications Desire for practice ownership. Community‑based care interest. Leadership or program development interest. Location Multiple U.S. markets available (urban, suburban, and rural). Relocation and market selection are physician‑directed, subject to licensure. Compensation Compensation is generated by the physician‑owned practice. Financial outcomes depend on specialty scope, services offered, payer mix, physician activity, and local market conditions.
