About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its mission of supporting NGO and nonprofit leaders in building stronger, more sustainable organizations. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating the organization's multi-year strategic plan into annual goals, leading the shift to a diversified revenue model, and building and managing a strong pipeline across various fundraising and partnership channels. This role requires a warm, credible public communicator who is comfortable representing the organization externally, as well as an entrepreneurial, low-ego operator who is willing to work hands-on with a small, high-performing team. The CEO will also be tasked with maintaining a strong command of the program model, building trust-based relationships with various stakeholders, and activating the global alumni network. Applicants for the CEO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree (MBA a plus) and 8-12+ years of senior leadership experience in a nonprofit, foundation, accelerator, or mission-driven business. A proven track record in building revenue through fundraising, partnerships, earned income, or business development is essential, as is experience in leading teams, including in remote, globally distributed environments. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for the organization's mission, be able to travel as needed, and be adept at thought leadership and public speaking. Responsibilities also include representing the organization at conferences and funder events, and working closely with the board, donors, alumni, and corporate partners to build trust-based relationships and activate them as connectors and fundraisers.
