Opening 1: Internal Medicine/Family Medicine - Obstetrics Opportunity at FQHC in Chicago

Recruiting for a full-time Family Medicine, MD or Internal Medicine, MD at Health Center in Chicago, IL. This Provider role also includes an Obstetrics component. Board certification is required or if board certification eligible must be board certified within one year from start date. This role will also include a Collaborating Physician component for 1 – 2 APPs, currently on staff.

About the Job:

• Spanish Speaking is a plus
• Site services: Behavioral Health, Family Medicine, MAT Clinic, Oral Health and a Substance Use Treatment Clinic.
• EMR: Athena
• Staff: 3 FM MD's, 7 APP's, 4 Behavioral Health Providers, 14 Medical Assistants
• Call Schedule
• All providers in the entire practice rotate covering after hours off-site call. Monday – Friday: 5pm to 8pm.
• Residents cover calls on Saturday and Sunday for the entire weekend.
• $500 bonus per delivery
• OB coverage at the hospital starting at 7am to 5pm is traditionally split between the OB floor for ½ day in the morning and in the afternoon ½ day precepting our Family Medicine residents. Typically, this occurs 1 day per week.
• About 4 to 6 times per month and depending on provider’s vacations, starting at 5pm to 5pm the following day, there is a 24-hour OB call
