Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Perimeter Patrol in Durham, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting daily operations with a caring, reliable, and integrity-driven team that values agility, innovation, and teamwork.

Job Schedule:
DayTimeSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSun03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing updates with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and report unauthorized access attempts, damaged doors, gates, fencing, and/or other conditions that could affect location operations.
- Support order at the location by following post instructions, communicating clearly with personnel and visitors, and reporting maintenance, hazard, and/or policy issues through proper channels.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
