Location & Department UCHealth Medical, Center of the Rockies, Loveland, CO – MCR Diagnostic Radiology. Work Schedule Full Time, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks). Shift: Nights. This is an onsite role; no hybrid or remote option. Pay $28.38 – $39.74 per hour, based on relevant experience. Summary Performs various imaging procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization. Responsibilities Reviews patient history and physician orders and manages scheduling. Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation. Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice when ordered. Monitors patient conditions continually and reports/responds to changes in status. Prepares equipment and supplies; selects appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters. Implements safety standards and performs quality control procedures on equipment. Troubleshoots, resolves, and reports equipment malfunctions as necessary. Positions patient and performs imaging procedures; analyses results and identifies quality issues. Takes appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning and repeating procedures. Enters and transmits images. May work with radiology students. Applies critical thinking and decisive judgment; works with minimal supervision. Operates in a fast‑paced environment and takes appropriate action as needed. Requirements Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program. Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (R) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Specialty ARRT certifications, if required for the position. State licensure, if required by law. BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross and a CPR card for the Professional Rescuer with card in hand before start date; card must be valid through sixty days of hire.
