Needed Qualifications:

• Active RN license (state eligibility applies)
• Minimum of 2 years recent stepdown or progressive care experience
• Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) and basic life support (BLS) certifications
• Strong assessment skills and ability to respond to rapidly changing patient conditions
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, effective patient care in the stepdown unit
• Monitor and assess patients requiring a higher level of observation post-ICU
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other nurses to optimize patient outcomes
• Administer medications and interventions as per physician orders and care plans
• Document patient status, progress, and response to treatments
