Job Summary:
The Radiologic Tech Diagnostic Weekend is responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic procedures across diverse patient populations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality images and patient care. This role requires technical proficiency, safety awareness, and excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

• Operate radiographic equipment to produce clear and precise diagnostic images.
• Explain procedures to patients, ensuring comfort and understanding.
• Demonstrate proper patient positioning and adjust equipment settings based on protocols.
• Follow radiation safety principles to protect patients and staff.
• Assist radiologists during imaging procedures or other related duties as assigned.
• Interact with multiple computer systems for patient data entry and image management.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program.
• Registered or registry-eligible Radiologic Technologist.
• Current Kansas state license for Radiology Technology.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association, or willingness to complete within 90 days.
• Prior experience in Diagnostic Radiology preferred.
• Strong knowledge of imaging protocols and safety procedures.
