Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

• Implementing tailored physical therapy treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist to support patients' recovery goals.
• Guiding patients through therapeutic exercises and functional activities, providing hands-on assistance to promote proper form and technique.
• Monitoring and documenting patient progress effectively, including responses to treatment and any necessary modifications to ensure optimal recovery.
• Educating patients on the importance of movement techniques, home exercise regimens, and strategies for injury prevention.
• Ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout all therapy sessions, addressing any concerns, and adapting treatment as needed.
• Collaborating with the Physical Therapist, physicians, and healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and insurance guidelines, ensuring quality standards are met.

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits
