Minimum Qualifications 10 years of experience in commercial refrigeration HVAC maintenance. Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for refrigerant handling. Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR check. Minimum age 18 with a high school diploma or equivalent. Job Duties Maintain and repair Walmart facility refrigeration HVAC equipment by using commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills, hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment. Use the work order management system to receive repair work orders to support stores and store associates and document repair activities. Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls. Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues. Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely. Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations by performing work according to Walmart’s refrigeration HVAC safety policy and environmental guidelines. Lift up to 75 pounds, move up and down ladders, and work comfortably at heights. Compensation Salary range: $56,160 – $106,080. Currently offering a $2,000 sign‑on bonus for select locations. Individual compensation is based on factors such as skill set, experience, level of job offer, qualifications, and other job‑related factors. Eligible for bonus incentive.
