HR Business Partner

PURPOSE The HR Co-op will support the Human Resources team in day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives. This role is ideal for a student pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field who is looking to gain hands-on experience in a professional HR environment. RESPONSIBILITIES Assist with recruitment activities including posting jobs, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communications. Monthly Audit of Benefit Invoices Bi-weekly point report to Supervisors noting missing warnings File employee files in cabinets and move terminated files to appropriate cabinet Work with Marketing to add HR Content to the café' monitors. HR Plant Communication Board: Clean-up policies (laminate), post events etc. Support onboarding and orientation processes for new hires. Maintain and update employee records and HR databases. Help organize well-being activities, employee engagement and recognition programs. Assist in preparing HR reports and metrics. Provide administrative support for training and development initiatives. Respond to employee inquiries and direct them to appropriate resources. Participate in HR projects and process improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations Other duties as assigned by Manager. Excellent Attendance - Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Previous internship or office experience is a plus but not required.
