Admissions Associate

Emma Willard School is seeking a part-time Admissions Associate for a one-year contract for the 2026 - 2027 academic year. The part-time Admissions Associate is a member of a team dedicated to the recruitment and enrollment of students who are best served by Emma Willard School’s mission. The position is responsible for developing positive relationships with prospective students and families and assisting them through the admissions process. The Admissions Associate will also support admission event planning and attend admissions events off-campus to promote the school. This role is approximately 20 hours per week and may require occasional evening, weekend, and travel commitments for admissions events. We seek someone who is committed to navigating today’s changing and diverse landscape to help the school promote and nurture diversity, equity, and inclusion. Develop positive relationships with prospective students and families and assist them from inquiry through enrollment Interview prospective students and their families Participate and provide support for on-campus events, and potentially virtual events Visit schools and attend school fairs as needed Participate in file reading, candidate review, and admissions committee discussions Support accurate tracking of inquiries, applicants, visits, interviews, and follow-up communication in admissions databases Requirements Bachelor’s Degree or comparable professional experience Admissions or school-based experience preferred; boarding school experience helpful Experience with Finalsite Enrollment, Blackbaud, or other admission databases Strong oral and written communication skills Strong attention to detail Positive and collaborative spirit Creativity Demonstrated commitment to welcoming and supporting families from a wide range of racial, cultural, socioeconomic, geographic and family backgrounds Interest in working with high school-aged students in an inclusive girls school environment Ability to travel occasionally to represent the school The ability to work collaboratively and effectively with diverse groups, including students from around the world and from underrepresented groups. $25 - $30 per hour based on education and experience.
