Dental Hygienist Position – Lansdowne & Culpeper, Virginia We are hiring Dental Hygienists to join our growing dental practices in Lansdowne and Culpeper, Virginia. The role involves assisting the dentist with procedures and operating x‑ray machines. Duties and Responsibilities Use dental instruments to clean accretions, calcareous deposits, and stains from teeth and beneath the margins of gums. Examine patient medical history and record dental decay and disease for diagnosis and treatment. Use probes to examine and locate periodontal recessed gums and other signs of gum disease. Maintain dental equipment and x‑ray machines. Examine gums for signs of disease, sores, and other dental health issues. Promote preventative dental care and apply fluoride and other decay prevention agents. Work with dentists and dental assistants. Maintain a dental hygiene program for patients. Requirements and Qualifications Associate’s degree from an accredited hygiene program. State hygiene license. Current CPR certificate. Ability to administer local anesthetic agents. Proficiency in using an x‑ray machine. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Comfortable using computers for a variety of tasks.
