Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)|MCK Rehab Unit

Location: Avera Specialty Hospital – Sioux Falls, South Dakota Worker Type: Regular Work Shift: Rotating days/evenings/nights/weekends/holidays (United States of America) Pay Range: $24.50 - $33.75 (Actual pay rate dependent upon experience) Position Highlights 72 hours/2 weeks – Rotating Day/Night (7-7) including every 3rd weekend/holiday; occasional call Experienced & New Grad LPNs eligible to apply Position may be eligible for $2000 - $4000 Sign On Bonus Overview The LPN practices under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice registered nurse, licensed physician, or other health care provider. The LPN organizes and directs those aspects of care for which he/she is accountable; communicating and coordinating care with well‑defined nursing diagnoses, including all health team members. Responsibilities Collect data and conduct a focused nursing assessment of the health status of a patient. Participate with other health care providers in the development and modification of the patient‑centered health care plan. Implement nursing interventions within a patient‑centered health care plan. Assist in the evaluation of responses to interventions. Provide for the maintenance of safe and effective nursing care rendered directly or indirectly. Advocate for the best interest of the patient. Communicate and collaborate with patients and members of the health care team. Assist with health counseling and teaching. Delegate and assign nursing interventions to implement the plan of care. Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Board of Nursing; active license in the state of practice.
