Building Custodian
Royale
As a building custodian you look after a residential building on a steady routine. Each day you sweep, mop and clean the shared areas, take out the trash and recycling, and keep the entrance and front desk area tidy. Shifts are 8 hours, during the day, on a fixed schedule, so you always know what your week looks like.
Royale Company staffs luxury residential high-rises, some of the best-known buildings in the city. We move fast: you'll hear from us within one business day, and most candidates complete the hiring process within a week. The Job You keep the building clean and welcoming for the residents who live there. On a typical shift you will:- Sweep, mop and clean lobbies, hallways, stairwells and other common areas
- Collect and take out trash and recycling
- Keep entrances and the front desk area clean and tidy
- Janitorial or building cleaning experience is preferred, ideally more than one year. We provide training
- Reliability and punctuality
- A friendly manner and a neat, presentable appearance with residents and guests
- Background check required (at our cost)
