Responsibilities
- Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting
- Administer medications and monitor responses, following physician orders and facility policy
- Perform comprehensive assessments, document findings, and communicate changes to the care team
- Maintain accurate records in the electronic health record; ensure timely charting and care plan updates
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Respond to emergencies, manage basic wound care, safety protocols, infection control practices
- Support residents with activities of daily living, meal assistance, hydration, and mobility
- Engage with families and care partners to explain care plans and progress as appropriate

Requirements
- Active RN license (current and in good standing)
- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings preferred
- Ability to work a schedule of three 12-hour day shifts per week (0700–1930)
- Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Capable of working within a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced LTC environment
