Grant Writer/Administrator

Nanobiosym is an innovative nanotechnology company in Cambridge, MA, developing novel technologies to address a broad range of diseases. Nanobiosym was founded by an MIT/Harvard alum to work at the interface of physics, nanotechnology, and biomedicine. Nanobiosym was awarded the 2013 X-PRIZE- the first X-PRIZE ever awarded for healthcare. Nanobiosym is seeking an exceptional, highly-motivated grant writer to support Nanobiosym's efforts in developing cutting edge technology from the holistic integration of physics, biomedicine, and nanotechnology. Primary responsibilities for the position include identifying grants and other funding devices from both federal and private organizations to support nanobiophysics research.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs research to identify grants and other funding sources from both federal and private organizations. Oversee the grant writing, budgeting, team identification, collaborator identification and submission process, as well as follow up process until award. Management and supervision of the grants following submission including: Participation in internal technical update meetings and reviews Managing funding agency reports and updates

QUALIFICATIONS:

Ph.D (or MS) in Biological Sciences or related field. Proven successful grant writing experience at a university or in industry Experience working with NASA, DARPA, NIH, NSF, DOD, BARDA and other federal agencies Demonstrated examples of innovative thinking Strong work ethic and ability to generate high quality work under tight deadlines Flexibility in work schedule Self-motivated, independent and a driving force of efficient execution Strong organizational and project management skills Excellent oral and written communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Nanobiosym
