Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 16 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Emergency Room (ER) nurse positions are available in a healthcare facility seeking qualified professionals for a 16-week assignment. This role involves providing acute care in a fast-paced emergency environment, with a focus on patient safety, high-quality care, and adherence to established clinical protocols. The position requires flexibility to meet the operational needs of the unit and handle diverse patient cases. Job Details Schedule: Night shifts, 36 hours per week, from 09/14/2026 to 01/03/2027 Required Qualifications: Certifications include AHA BLS (American Heart Association Basic Life Support), AHA ACLS (American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), AHA PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale), and TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) or proof of class with date applied. NIHSS certification is required prior to start. Previous travel experience is required; at least one travel assignment completed. Minimum of 2 years of in-unit ER experience. EPIC electronic health record system experience from within the past 2 years is required and nonnegotiable. Preferred Qualifications: Charge nurse experience highly preferred. Ability to float to Medical-Surgical (MS) units is desirable. Additional Information: IVS to provide assignment. No block schedules; work scheduled Sunday to Saturday. Bi-weekly orientations on Mondays. All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained. Complete work history details (bed count, electronic health record system, facility type, etc.) are required for submission. Reliable transportation is necessary; personal or rental vehicle recommended, especially during months with potential weather challenges.
