Per Diem Pharmacist - Orlando, Florida

Soliant Health

Support pharmacist coverage in Orlando, Florida on a per diem basis, providing essential medication dispensing and patient counseling in a retail pharmacy setting. This role operates under the direct supervision of the pharmacy manager, ensuring accuracy and safety in medication delivery.

Schedule:

Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Friday: 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM
1st shift

Term of assignment: March 13 and March 16 through March 20

Responsibilities:

Dispense medications accurately while ensuring patient safety and adherence to regulations
Counsel patients on medication use, potential side effects, and proper regimens
Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints according to organizational policies
Maintain stock levels and control drug records and inventories meticulously
Resolve patient issues and clarify third-party insurance coverage questions
Utilize Pioneer software for medication management and record-keeping

Qualifications and Experience:

Active pharmacist license in Florida
Minimum of 1+ year of experience in retail pharmacy environments
