About the Role

As a Service Manager / Auto Service Writer, you'll be the trusted connection between our customers and technicians. You'll play a critical role in delivering an exceptional customer experience while helping ensure vehicles receive the highest quality service.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and working in a fast-paced automotive environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with their vehicle service needs
• Accurately document vehicle concerns and prepare repair orders
• Communicate repair recommendations and service updates
• Coordinate workflow between customers and technicians
• Deliver outstanding customer service while building long-term customer relationships
• Help maintain Gerald's reputation for honesty, integrity, and quality workmanship
• Support daily shop operations and team success

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Previous automotive industry experience preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Professional demeanor and positive attitude
• Dependable and punctual
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
