Essential Functions:
- Enthusiastically greets every Guest with a smile and positive attitude
- Take Guests' order using the Velvet Taco steps of service
- Ensure dine-in, to-go and call-in orders are properly rung up in the POS
- Handle all cash, credit card and gift card transactions
- Check identification before serving alcohol according to state law
- Maintain a clean, sanitized service area
- Have full knowledge of all food & beverage menu items
- Maintain a driven, intense pace with good cleaning habits throughout shift
- Other functions as assigned by management
- Have fun and Kick Ass
Qualifications:
- BE RELENTLESS. NEVER SETTLE. You play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment for our guests by treating every Guest at Velvet Taco Vibe with passionate speed, friendly and engaging service.
- BE A REBEL. You are passionate about food and hospitality and obsessed with cleanliness and organization.

Additional Requirements:

- Food Handlers Certification/Alcoholic Beverage Service Certification (TABC/BASSET)
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds
Velvet Taco is a temple to the liberated taco. We're a one-of-a-kind taco concept serving a chef-driven menu in a unique & funky fast-casual setting. Founded on the idea that tacos don't have to be associated with Tex-Mex cuisine and can be made with the same care and quality ingredients as fine dining, Velvet Taco is where "anything goes meets the art of the possible." Some cool things about us: we use only the freshest ingredients available to offer a menu that explores the edge of multi-cultural boundaries, taking the taco to a whole new liberated level. We slow roast our own chicken and corn, use lots of booze in our margaritas, and make everything from scratch, which means our food tastes really awesome!
