Architect I

AECOM is seeking an Architect I to be based in Los Angeles or Orange, CA. This position is expected to begin ASAP. Responsibilities Perform basic architectural/engineering calculations. Prepare specifications, reports and related data tables. Maintain liaison with design and drafting groups. Prepare, review, and approve drawings as required. Under the direction of the Supervising Architect, may perform technical assignments of moderate complexity within approved schedules and budgets. May coordinate technical and administrative activities with employees in other disciplines and other departments participating on an assigned project. May assist in the training and evaluation of assigned architectural and design/drafting personnel. Minimum Requirements BA/BS in Architecture + None or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. Preferred Qualifications Fluency in Revit. Experienced with other design tools such as SketchUp, Rhino, and/or Adobe Creative Suite. Strong interpersonal skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
