Real Estate Paralegal

A leading law firm is seeking a Real Estate Paralegal to join the team in Melville, NY. Who You Are You have 3+ years of commercial real estate paralegal experience within a law firm or in-house legal department Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred Experienced with acquisitions, dispositions, commercial lending, and financing transactions Strong background reviewing purchase and sale agreements, closing documents, settlement statements, and property records Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple transactions and deadlines ACRIS experience, a major plus! What You’ll Do Support commercial real estate transactions with a primary focus on acquisitions and dispositions, along with lending and financing matters Prepare closing checklists, critical-date memos, settlement statements, and transaction documents Coordinate due diligence, closings, and documentation throughout the transaction lifecycle Conduct entity, ownership, and property research and handle ACRIS-related matters Review title, survey, zoning, and compliance materials as needed Communicate with clients, attorneys, and other transaction parties to keep matters moving forward What Success Looks Like Transactions progress smoothly from due diligence through closing Critical dates, documentation, and closing requirements are managed accurately Attorneys receive proactive and reliable transaction support Multiple active matters are handled efficiently and accurately Salary Range $70,000 - 80,000 annually, based on experience Location Melville, NY - On site Gainor is committed to the principle of equal employment opportunity for all employees and to providing employees with a work environment free of discrimination and harassment.
