HVAC Installer

MAC Heating & Air – Brevard, North Carolina

MAC Heating & Air is seeking a skilled and dependable HVAC Installer to join our growing team in Brevard, NC. We are looking for motivated individuals who take pride in quality workmanship, professionalism, and delivering an excellent customer experience.

This position is ideal for an installer with residential HVAC experience who is looking for long-term career growth with a company that values teamwork, integrity, and craftsmanship.

Position Overview

As an HVAC Installer, you will be responsible for installing residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems, ductwork, and related equipment. Installers are expected to complete installations safely, efficiently, and according to company and manufacturer standards while maintaining a clean and professional job site.

Responsibilities

• Install residential and light commercial HVAC systems
• Replace furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, air handlers, and ductless systems
• Install and modify ductwork as needed
• Perform system startups and testing to ensure proper operation
• Follow installation specifications, code requirements, and safety standards
• Maintain organized job sites and company vehicles
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members
• Complete installation paperwork and documentation accurately
• Assist with warehouse organization and inventory as needed
• Work collaboratively with service technicians and install teams

Qualifications

• HVAC installation experience preferred
• EPA Certification preferred
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools
• Ability to lift equipment and work in attics, crawlspaces, rooftops, and outdoor environments
• Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude
• Sheet metal and ductwork experience is a plus
• Experience with heat pumps and residential retrofit installations preferred
