Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join our team for night shifts. The role requires a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Shift Details

Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM

36 hours guaranteed per week

Weekend rotation: Every other weekend

Holiday rotation: Rotating on block schedule

Unit Overview

The Emergency Room features 8 beds, including 2 trauma bays, and operates as a Level 4 trauma center. The typical staffing ratio includes:

  • 2 Registered Nurses (RNs) per shift
  • 1 Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) from 11 AM to 11 PM
  • 1 RN from 4 PM to 4 AM
  • 1 Unit Secretary

Qualifications

  • Education: Minimum Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in an emergency room setting
  • Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC are required at the time of submission
  • License: Texas or Multistate RN license required at the time of submission

Charting System

The charting system utilized in this unit is Cerner.

Additional Information

Vaccination records are required upon submission.
