About the Role
The Company is in search of a Market President to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing commercial loan accounts, soliciting commercial clients, and generating a variety of commercial and real estate loans. This role requires a professional who can contribute to deposit growth, collect and analyze customer information, and is accountable for the market's commercial lending performance. The Market President will also be involved in strategic planning, marketing, and managing a team of Relationship Managers. Professional and civic involvement in the community is a critical aspect of the role, as is the ability to influence personal and professional development. The ideal candidate for the Market President position at the company is a self-motivated individual with a passion for the industry. A bachelor's degree in banking, finance, or a related field is preferred, along with at least seven years of direct lending or credit support experience. The role demands a proven track record in generating commercial real estate and commercial and industrial loans, as well as formal credit training and underwriting knowledge. The candidate should have a strong background in analyzing financial statements, be familiar with sales, loan processing, and closing processes, and possess extensive knowledge of commercial banking products and services. Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to expand client relationships and cross-sell bank products.
