A Per Diem Pharmacist role is available at a growing compounding pharmacy in Doral, FL, specializing in both non-sterile compounding and an imminent sterile compounding launch. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute regulatory expertise and pharmacy operations support in a dynamic setting focused on specialized therapies such as GLP-1 medications, hormone replacement therapy primarily for female hormones, with potential future expansion into testosterone treatments.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide regulatory oversight and ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws
• Support operational workflows for the upcoming sterile compounding launch
• Review and update policies, procedures, and quality assurance standards
• Collaborate closely with the Director of Pharmacy Operations to ensure smooth launch and ongoing operations
• Offer pharmacist coverage during operational hours as needed

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Florida Pharmacist License required
• Experience with pharmacy start-ups is strongly preferred but flexibility exists
• Background in compounding (sterile or non-sterile) highly valued; retail experience also considered
• Willingness to train on compounding techniques if necessary

About the Facility:
This small but expanding pharmacy site currently operates non-sterile compounding with plans to initiate sterile compounding imminently. The team consists of approximately five on-site employees supplemented by remote operational and clinical support resources.
