Certified CVOR Surgical Technologist

Join our team as a Certified CVOR Surgical Technologist in Lewisville, TX at a hospital facility. You will function as a member of a cardiac surgical team, assisting physicians and nurses in the operating room during cardiac procedures. You will ensure patient safety by preparing the operating room, sterilizing and organizing instrumentation, assisting with sterile technique, and providing direct support to the surgical team during cases.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or equivalent (CST required).
• Active Texas CST license. Temporary licenses will not be accepted.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years of hospital experience and specialty experience in CVOR or cardiac surgical environment.
• Experience with sterile technique and operating room instrumentation for cardiac cases.
• Meditech experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional specialty/unit certifications related to cardiac surgery.
• Experience in a Level III trauma or high-acuity surgical setting.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 08:00 - 17:00.
• Schedule includes variable shift/workdays with call responsibilities.
• Floating to other units as needed.
