Job Description

National General is seeking an experienced and results-driven Non-Attorney Represented Bodily Injury Associate Manager to lead a team of Bodily Injury Claims Adjusters handling non-attorney represented auto casualty claims. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, coaching and developing team members, ensuring quality claim outcomes, and fostering a customer-focused culture while maintaining compliance with company standards and state regulations.

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in bodily injury claims leadership, demonstrated success managing performance, and the ability to balance customer experience, claim quality, and financial stewardship. Also, a leader that thrives in a fast-paced claims environment and enjoys developing talent while delivering outstanding business results. You can effectively navigate complex claim scenarios, build strong partnerships, and inspire your team to achieve performance excellence. The required schedule for this role is Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM PST

Key Responsibilities

• Frequently participates in special projects as a subject matter expert

• Manages and oversees performance of vendors

• Oversees response to highly complex arbitrations contentions

• Oversees the negotiation of highly complex claim settlements

• Oversees the resolution of highly complex customer conflicts or issues

• Analyzes unit reports and supports the achievement of business unit objectives

• Defines, analyzes, and tracks department, section, and/or unit measures

• Reviews employee work quality and interactions with customers through conducting ride-alongs or sit-alongs and file reviews

Compensation

Base compensation offered for this role is:

Team Lead I: $68,500.00 -- $104,100.00
Team Lead II: $70,100.00 -- $110,400.00
Associate Manager: $80,000.00 -- $124,600.00

Compensation is based on experience and qualifications. Total compensation for this role is comprised of several factors, including the base compensation outlined above, plus incentive pay (i.e. commission, bonus, etc.) if applicable for the role.
