Inventory Control Tech
Location: Westminster, MD, 21157
OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Control Tech to join our dynamic team in Westminster, MD. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining accurate inventory levels, performing shipping and receiving functions and ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliations to maintain accuracy.
- Assist in the development and implementation of inventory control procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to forecast inventory needs and manage stock replenishment.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory records.
- Support the receiving and shipping processes by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Maintain a clean and organized inventory storage area.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in logistics or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in inventory management or a related role.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed.
