Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician – Meadow View Apartments Location: 15 Woodhill Dr, Springboro, OH 45066. At Meadow View Apartments, we take pride in providing exceptional living spaces for our residents. As part of our team, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and safety of our community. Position Overview: The Maintenance Technician collaborates closely with the Property Manager and the Maintenance Supervisor. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that all vacated apartments are restored to “market ready” status promptly and according to our standards. Key Responsibilities Handle maintenance requests and work orders promptly, as assigned by the Property Manager or Maintenance Supervisor. Inspect vacated apartments, complete checklists, and perform necessary tasks to restore them to “make-ready” status. Replace or repair windows, latches, screens, hinges, sliding glass doors, shelves, baseboards, mirrors, and closet doors. Check applicable appliances and promptly inform the Maintenance Supervisor of any issues. Assist in changing or removing appliances from apartments. Make keys when necessary. Inspect faucets, sink plugs, and perform repairs or replacements as needed. Assist with painting duties as requested, ensuring a fresh and appealing appearance. Repair holes in drywall, patch, plaster, and paint as necessary. Maintain a safe work environment by following guidelines set by the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager. Qualifications Previous maintenance experience required (2 years). Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills. Commitment to safety protocols. HVAC Certification required. EPA Certification a plus. Compensation Competitive pay. Hourly pay $22-$27 (depending on the candidate's experience and certifications). Job Type: Full‑time. Expected hours: 40 per week.
