This role ensures maximum uptime, quality, and throughput of production lines by performing preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, and process monitoring.# # **What you’ll do****Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting*** Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance on equipment.* Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software-related equipment issues to minimize downtime.* Maintain accurate PM records and equipment logs.**Process Optimization*** Work with Manufacturing Engineers to improve equipment performance, yield, and cycle time.* Assist in root‐cause analysis for quality defects related to processes.* Suggest and implement continuous improvement initiatives.**Quality & Compliance*** Ensure processes meet internal quality standards.* Maintain ESD compliance and ensure equipment is properly calibrated.* Follow all safety, quality, and production policies.**Documentation & Systems*** Update equipment records and maintenance logs.* Maintain calibration and repair history.* Provide feedback to engineering on program performance and process issues.# # **What you need****Requirements:*** High School Diploma or GED. Associate degree in Electronics or related technical field preferred.* 3-5 years of experience of equipment maintenance. + Preferred 2+ years of experience working with SMT production equipment in electronics manufacturing.* Strong troubleshooting skills (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic).* Experience with SMT line equipment such as: + Pick & Place (Fuji, Juki, Mydata/Mycronic, Panasonic, etc.) + Screen Printers (DEK, MPM) + Reflow Ovens (Heller, Vitronics) + AOI/SPI (Koh Young, CyberOptics, Mirtec)* Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.* Proficiency using basic hand tools and precision measurement tools.* Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint;* General experience with production machinery and maintenance for small or light industrial equipment;* Please note due to the requirements from the Department of Energy, **U.S. CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED;****Physical Requirements:*** Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, climb, and reach for extended periods throughout the workday.* Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds* Ability to work in confined spaces and around moving mechanical parts.* Ability to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, and operate tools, controls, and precision instruments.* Ability to perform repetitive motions involving hands, arms, and shoulders.* Ability to visually inspect equipment, including close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.* Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), such as safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, steel‐toed shoes, and fall protection.# # **What we offer*** Competitive pay and comprehensive health benefits* 401(k) with company match and retirement plans* Paid time off and flexible work arrangements* Professional development and training opportunities* Employee wellness programs and assistance resources* A collaborative environment working on mission-critical technology# # **What happens next**Apply online through Teledyne’s careers page.
