Outpatient Full-time Physical Therapist
Location: Carbondale, Colorado
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: Working 4-10 hour days/week, with variable days including Saturdays.
Job Description: Join a premier healthcare facility in Western Colorado as an Outpatient Full-time Physical Therapist. This position is available at our Carbondale Clinic due to an increase in patient volume, aimed at reducing wait times and enhancing patient care. As a Physical Therapist, you will evaluate patients and create and implement effective treatment plans for various diagnoses, with a focus on improving strength, range of motion, balance, safety, and overall function. You will also provide education to patients and caregivers on home exercise programs.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapy interventions to improve patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs.
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Bachelor's degree in physical therapy.
- Current Colorado PT licensure or compact for Colorado.
- At least two years of PT experience; three to five years preferred.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
