Work is primarily located in Brunswick County, NC
$25–35 per hour, based on experience and skill

35-40 hours per week

What We're Looking For

We're looking for an experienced multi-skilled handyman , not someone who only specializes in one trade.

You should be comfortable handling a variety of residential repairs and knowing when a job is within your skill level—and when it isn't.

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant handyman, remodeling, maintenance, or construction experience
• Reliable transportation
• Valid driver's license
• Can pass drug and background tests
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to safely work from ladders
• Own basic power tools
• Ability to work independently
• Professional communication skills
• Comfortable working inside customers' homes

Our Service Area

Projects are located throughout Brunswick County and surrounding communities , including areas such as Ocean Isle Beach, Southport, Bolivia, Leland, and nearby communities.

Why Join Premier Handyman Services?

• $25–35/hour based on experience and skill
• Full-time, year-round employment
• Regular opportunities for raises and bonuses as your skills and responsibilities grow
• You will be an employee, not an I-9 Contractor
• Know your schedule in advance with easy access through our CRM app
• Dedicated Office and Customer Service Support
• Training and skill development
• Consistent opportunities to work on interesting residential projects
• Opportunity to advance into Senior Technician and leadership roles
• A company culture where quality matters more than simply getting the job done quickly

We're building a company where good technicians can build a career—not just work from one job to the next.

What You'll Be Doing

No two days are exactly alike.

You'll work on residential repair, maintenance, and improvement projects throughout Brunswick County.

Projects may include:

• Drywall repair and finishing
• Interior and exterior painting
• Trim and finish carpentry
• Door installation, repair, and adjustments
• Hardware and fixture installation
• Deck and exterior repairs
• Punch-list completion
• General home maintenance
• Basic plumbing repairs
• Basic electrical fixture installation
• Other residential repair and improvement projects

You'll also be responsible for:

• Communicating professionally with homeowners
• Protecting customers' homes and belongings
• Keeping work areas clean and organized
• Completing projects to Premier's quality standards
• Identifying problems and finding practical solutions
• Communicating job progress and issues with the team
• Representing Premier Handyman Services professionally at every customer interaction

This Probably Isn't the Right Job If...

• You don't enjoy working directly with homeowners
• You prefer doing only one type of work
• You're frequently late or unreliable
• You need someone to manage every step of a project
• You're more concerned with speed than quality
• You don't take pride in how you leave a customer's home

Your First 90 Days

Your first 90 days are an opportunity for both you and Premier Handyman Services to make sure we're the right fit for each other.

We'll evaluate:

• Quality of workmanship
• Reliability and attendance
• Customer communication
• Professionalism
• Ability to follow company standards
• Problem-solving
• Productivity
• Teamwork and attitude

As you demonstrate your skills and consistently meet our standards, you'll have opportunities for increased pay, responsibility, and advancement.
