Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve research excellence.Job DescriptionSite Director OverviewThe Site Director leads operational performance and management of clinical research activities, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.Oversees site operations, driving efficiency, patient safety, and protocol adherence to achieve research goals and milestones.Collaborates with cross-functional teams in business development, patient recruitment, and quality assurance for optimal site performance.Ensures timely execution of clinical trials through resource allocation, risk management, and performance monitoring.Provides leadership in staff management, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation to maintain high-quality operations.Develops corrective action plans and supports compliance with clinical protocols and regulatory standards.Employs strategic thinking to address challenges and propose effective solutions for site and study-level risks.Participates in management meetings, presenting insights and strategies to enhance site performance.Ensures confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information, adhering to HIPAA guidelines.Site Director Key Responsibilities & DutiesLead site management and operational oversight, focusing on efficiency, compliance, and patient safety.Coordinate with department leaders to meet study milestones, budgets, and deliver high-quality data.Monitor clinical trial systems and dashboards to ensure timely execution of operational aspects.Manage resource allocation, staff assignments, and performance to achieve study deliverables.Conduct training sessions on protocols, SOPs, and clinical guidelines for study teams.Ensure adherence to GCP, FDA regulations, and company policies in all site activities.Oversee staff management, including hiring, performance appraisals, and career development.Collaborate with investigators to align patient safety with study objectives and timelines.Present findings and strategies in management meetings to enhance site operations.Site Director Job RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Science or equivalent education and experience in clinical research.Minimum of 5 years of clinical research experience, with 2 years in site management.Proficiency in Microsoft applications, electronic health records, and web-based tools.Strong organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills to meet deadlines.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with interpersonal and listening abilities.Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and professionally, adhering to HIPAA guidelines.Self-motivated with a strong work ethic, capable of working independently and collaboratively.Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.Experience with strategic thinking and risk mitigation in clinical research settings.
