Senior Scientist, Biostatistics

Johnson & Johnson seeks a Senior Scientist in Biostatistics to support oncology clinical trials in late-stage development. The role involves providing statistical expertise for study design, analysis, and regulatory submissions, with emphasis on hematologic malignancies, prostate cancer, and lung cancer programs.
Responsibilities
- Provide statistical input for clinical trial design, analysis, and interpretation to support decision-making
- Support statistical aspects of regulatory commitments and business-critical initiatives
- Advocate for appropriate statistical methods through demonstrated expertise in modeling and simulations
- Engage with external partners including key opinion leaders, regulatory agencies, and contract research organizations
- Participate in conferences and training to advance technical expertise and scientific community engagement
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Statistics or related field with 0–2 years relevant experience, or Master's degree with commensurate experience
- Proficiency in SAS and R programming languages
- Strong analytical skills with intellectual curiosity and commitment to continuous learning
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Capacity to build stakeholder relationships and adapt to changing business environments
