Director, Health Solutions - Strategic Accounts

Job Summary :Christian Brothers Services is seeking a Director of Account Management within its Health Solutions team. Health Solutions delivers comprehensive health and wellness benefits to Catholic member organizations. In this role, you will lead a team of Account Managers focused on building strong, trusted relationships with member organizations while supporting organizational growth and mission-aligned results. The Director acts as a trusted advisor to members, brokers, and key partners promoting collaboration, transparency, and education in line with Christian Brothers Services mission . Key Responsibilitie s:Leadership & Team Management Lead, mentor, and develop a team of account managers and client service professiona lsEstablish performance expectations, conduct regular coaching, and complete formal performance reviews; address performance issues as they aris e.Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and client‑centered service excellenc e.Ensure appropriate staffing models, workload balance, workflow management, and succession planning within the department and ensure knowledge of industry trends, policy changes, and competitive landscap e.Retention & Grow thStrategy Guide the development and execution of multi‑year strategies, renewal planning, and risk management approaches in partnership with clients to ensure retention goals are m etIdentify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across products (e.g., medical, dental, vision, wellness programs) and divisions (risk, retirement, consultin g)Partner with underwriting and other teams as needed to ensure growth and retention goals are m etLead development and execution of the Health Solutions business development strategy, including target segments, priorities, and annual growth objective s.Oversee the end-to-end new business pipeline, including qualification standards, pursuit strategy, forecasting, and performance metric s.Direct go-to-market execution and partner/channel development, aligning cross-functional teams on solutions, pricing, messaging, and sales enablemen t.Establish and monitor sales performance metrics (e.g., pipeline health, conversion rates, win/loss drivers) and adjust strategy to improve result s.Operational Excellence & Cross-Functional Collaboration Oversee all relationships providing proactive service and serve as key contact for select accoun tsServe as executive sponsor for high-value or at-risk clien tsEnsure proactive communication, issue resolution, and overall client satisfacti onIdentify and implement best practices and continuous improvement of account management processes, tools, templates, and client deliverable s.Collaborate with operations, claims, and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delive ryEnsure account management activities comply with applicable regulations and standards, including ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, and fiduciary best practice s.Utilize CRM and other systems and data analytics to track performance and inform decision-maki ngFinancial & Performance Management Monitor client retention, satisfaction, service delivery metrics, and operational KP IsSupport financial sustainability by aligning account strategies with pricing models, underwriting assumptions, and cost tren dsIdentify risks, opportunities, and patterns within the book of business and recommend corrective or strategic actio nsContribute to budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning related to account management initiativ esSupport preparation and delivery of materials for clients, brokers, boards and others as need ed Desired Qualificatio ns:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experien ce.15+ years of progressive experience in health plan account management or client servic es.3–5+ years of people management experience, preferably leading senior‑level professiona ls.Experience with multi‑employer trusts, Taft‑Hartley plans, or non-profit health plan environmen ts.Familiarity with healthcare analyti cs.Experience working with religious, nonprofit, or mission‑driven organizatio ns. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based inc entives.
