Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist in Charge experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacist to lead and manage daily pharmacy operations in an independent retail setting. Location: Northampton, MA
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Duration: 13 weeks, with potential for direct hire

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations as the Pharmacist-in-Charge or lead pharmacist
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain high standards of patient care
• Manage prescription order entry using Computer RX system
• Collaborate with a pharmacy team composed of three pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient workflow
• Maintain a prescription volume of approximately 100 scripts per day, ensuring accuracy and patient safety

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Massachusetts pharmacy license is required
• Retail pharmacy experience is essential
• Previous experience as a Pharmacist-in-Charge is a significant advantage; however, motivated staff pharmacists seeking to advance into management will also be considered
• Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage the team and pharmacy operations
