With locations in Scottsdale, Houston, Las Vegas, and Miami coming soon, Toca Madera continues to define indulgent, sensory-driven dining with impeccable flavor and vibrant energy.The Prep Cook will prepare meal ingredients, simple dishes, condiments, and other items as directed by the chef or sous chefs. They will ensure that pars are met and the kitchen is set up to successfully meet company standards and health requirements at all times.ResponsibilitiesPrepares ingredients and produce by peeling, cutting, and portioning as directed by the chef or sous chefs and written company standardsPrepares condiments, dressings, and sauces as well as simple dishes such as breads or saladsDeliver a consistently high level of customer service to each guest and clientMaintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene codes and standardsAssists with unloading, inspection, and storage of raw ingredients and supplies.Performs other related duties as assigned.Proactive and anticipate the needs of other team members to keep the kitchen running smoothlyAssist with back of house cleanliness and organizationQualificationsExhibit strong multitasking abilities and a diligent work ethicMaintain a clean and professional appearanceProved experience maintaining food safety standards, using proper food handling techniques, and maintaining kitchen cleanlinessAbility to prepare ingredients and basic food items according to written directions in EnglishAbility to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.A minimum of 1 year experience in a Full Service Dining experienceAvailable to work nights, weekends and holidaysMust be able to stand for the duration of shiftsBe able to lift and carry up to 45 lbs
